Connection to the Licallo computing cluster: Only secure connections are allowed on the login machines, so you must have an ssh client installed on your machine. Please contact your IT service if you do not have one installed.
Internal connection (from OCA or via VPN)
$ ssh licallo.oca.eu
Two login machines are available, so you will connect to either one.
The HOSTNAME environment variable will be different accordingly; the prompt will be:
[user@castor ]$ or alternatively
[user@pollux ]$
Your password is the one for your OCA account.
If you prefer not to type your password during SSH, SCP, etc., connections, refer to this documentation.
External Connection
You can connect from outside if authorized (refer to the connection policy established for access to the mesocenter in this document).
You can also use our SSH-n connection gateway, refer to this documentation.
